A note from the founder
Why EkaSetu exists.
I'm Geethamanikanta Jakka (Mani to most people), and I'm building EkaSetu. My background is in software.
The idea came from a simple gap. General HR platforms aren't built for how staffing firms work: vendor chains, client approvals, bill and pay rates on the same placement. Staffing software is built mainly around recruiting, which ends on the day the back-office work begins.
So the back office runs across separate tools: one for recruiting, email and spreadsheets for timesheets and approvals, another system for invoicing and payroll, and a separate list for visa, I-9 and insurance dates. None of them share a record, so people spend their week moving numbers between systems and checking that they agree.
EkaSetu puts that work on one placement record. Today it runs placements, timesheet approvals from email, invoicing, vendor bill checks, margin, compliance dates and payroll preparation. Running payroll and the wider workforce picture are where we're headed, and this site marks clearly what runs today and what is planned.
EkaSetu is new, and I'm onboarding our first firms myself. If your back office works the way I've described, I'd like to see how you run it today.
