How the storage choice is set

Chosen per company, when EkaSetu onboards your company.

Today every company runs on EkaSetu Storage, with its storage limit set in its plan (plans and modules are available now). When bringing your own storage arrives, it becomes one more per-company setting. Either way the records, permissions, document references and audit log stay in EkaSetu.

EkaSetu Storage

 Available

Files are kept encrypted by EkaSetu, in a folder of its own per company. Nothing to connect. The audit trail is EkaSetu’s job; nightly encrypted backups are planned.

  2. Permissions apply per role and per item Personal documents to owners and admins; consultants and vendors see their own

Bring Your Own Storage

 Planned

Supported document files are kept in storage your company owns. EkaSetu keeps the record of each file, who may open it, and the audit log. The flow below is the planned design; Google Drive and SharePoint are planned first, with no date.
