Chapter 1

Start a placement

Acme Consulting places Ananya Rao with Northwind Health, through Crestline Partners above and Meridian Tech Staffing below. The start-a-placement wizard records the client, every vendor in the chain with its rate, the dates and the person who approves the hours.

The margin sits where it is earned, and only owners and admins see it.

Chapter 2

Hours approved from email

Ananya enters her week once. Northwind Health's approver receives one email and approves the week, approves single days, or asks for changes with a note, without creating an account. Reminders go out on the first and third day after the week ends until it is in.

Approved hours and rates are fixed at approval; later changes are kept as corrections.

Chapter 3

Invoice and vendor bill check

The approved week becomes a draft invoice to Crestline Partners. Meridian's bill for the same week is compared with the approved hours at the agreed pay rate, and the two extra hours on it are held for review instead of being paid.

Invoices and vendor bills go to QuickBooks as files today; a live connection is planned.

Chapter 4

Compliance dates and electronic I-9

Visa, EAD, I-9, LCA and insurance dates sit with the placement they affect, with warnings at 90, 60 and 30 days. Each H-1B placement is checked against its LCA, and the Form I-9 is completed electronically, from Section 1 in onboarding to retention.

Chapter 5

Offer signing and onboarding

Neha Joshi's offer and agreement go out for signature in EkaSetu. She agrees to sign electronically, signs, the company countersigns, and the sealed copy is filed with her documents while her onboarding checklist runs to day one.
